Who ever came up with this idea, thinking that it would bring good to Brunei Darussalam, needs to remake their strategy
What were they thinking, closing cafes at 12 and gym at 9 ????? It affects me because 1. im a frequent cafe person and 2. im a gymnasium person.
thats on MY side. what about the business side ? Imposing this will not only kill the people’s entertainment needs, but will also kill the business progress.
My story
I work 8.30am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday. Then 6pm – 9pm, i attend my night class. From 9pm to – 12am, it will either be
a) dinner with my girlfriend
b) cafe with my friends
c) gym
4) studio
the Government has just destroyed my social life indefinitely.
SME’s Story
I dont even have to interview them for this, I would know what they’re going through. For cafes and restaurants, their peak business hours are night time, ecspecially at weekends. This sucks for them, cause it means, they wont make much money … no profit = business closed = no fun for people.
Dear Brunei
You want us to work at SMEs. But you’re dragging SME down. With less income for the SME, they’ll need less worker. Which means increase UEMPLOYMENT.
You know, if this is Brunei’s Government way to cut down crime right, its the worst move ever. If they really want to cut down crimes, they should send more cops to go on patrol (instead of road blocking drivers with tinted windows)

knowing Brunei no one will comply with it anyway. I mean, will those stiff suits in MIB shirts bother to check at midnight? If they come they probably want a drink too.
